21st June: 【IVG event】 TOKYO YAMATHON. THE ULTIMATE URBAN CHALLENGE 2014

International Volunteer group (IVG) which works together to support Oxfam Japan will hold a fundraising event " TOKYO YAMATHON. THE ULITIMATE URBAN CHALLENGE 2014" on Saturday 21st June.

THE TOKYO YAMATHON is a physical endurance & navigational challenge where teams of three or four people walk or run around the Yamanote line within 12 hours, starting out at The Tokyo International Forum near Yurakucho Station. This is a physical challenge and also a fundraising event. The participation fees of 10,000YEN and donation will be given directly to Oxfam Japan that will mean a lot to those who live in poverty around the world.
Race, challenge yourself, saunter around, or stop for booze breaks. It's up to you!

■ Date:                Saturday, 21st June 2014
■ Meeting time:     6:15am
                           6:45am Opening ceremony starts
■ Starting time:      7:00am Each team is going to start in turn
                           When you come to reception you will be noticed the time you start
■ Meeting point:     Tokyo International Forum (1min walk from Yurakucho Station).
■ Registration fee: 10,000yen per team (100% will be donated to Oxfam Japan)
